Wolfgang Ripberger

Diploma-Engineer (Architecture), Equivalent to Masters in Architecture (Science), Technical University, Augsburg, Germany.
Wolfgang is a knowledgeable and experienced designer. He has led several large-scale projects in the public realm, coordinating the team from the initial briefing stage through to completion. Since joining TZG in 2000 and through his senior work on such projects, Wolfgang has become a skilled manager of multidisciplinary teams, working closely with government bodies, maintaining client relationships, and effectively consulting with key stakeholders. Wolfgang was Project Lead and Designer on the complex Bondi Pavilion Restoration and Conservation Project, where his skill in management, detailing, documentation and addressing construction phase issues as they arise, were instrumental to the project’s success. Passionate about building community and climate forward coastal buildings, Wolfgang is currently leading the restoration and adaptation of the Newcastle Ocean Baths. He was also responsible for the Taronga Zoo Savannah & Congo Project, The Athenaeum Pool at Wenona School, multiple projects for the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Portico Apartments.
