In designing the rooms for the Autograph Collection at Pier One, Walsh Bay, Tonkin Zulaikha Greer have sourced inspiration from the spectacular Sydney Harbour, both its natural beauty and maritime history. Directly adjacent to Sydney Harbour, the threshold between the room and the water is blurred. A watery landscape is invited to enter the room via the carefully selected colour scheme and texture of soft furnishings. The nautical theme is further accentuated by the joinery details that borrow from the history of maritime architecture.
