The Bondi Masterplan aimed to protect and celebrate the heritage landmark, whilst providing the local residents and visitors of Bondi with a contemporary multi-purpose community and cultural facility centre. This led to new temporary public amenities and change facilities, the Bondi Picnic Shelters and the Bondi Pavillion Restoration and Conservation project.
