The Indigenous Land Corporation was a Commonwealth Statutory Authority that assists Indigenous Australians to acquire and manage land in a sustainable way providing cultural, social, economic or environmental benefits for themselves and future generations. The building’s location, commonly known as the Black Theatre Site, holds many memories for the Redfern Aboriginal community and was vacant for a number of years. The new building accommodates the offices and broadcasting studios of Gadigal Information Service (Koori Radio) and NITV (National Indigenous TV).
