Situated on Orwell Street in bustling Potts Point, the State Heritage listed Art Deco Venue, The Metro-Minerva, is carefully brought back to life. Rigorous work by specialist consultants and passion from client Central Element, have enabled entertainment to be brought back to The Minerva for the first time in 40 years. Extensive conservation and repairs works include the restoration of the original curving heritage ceiling through removal of intrusive office floor slabs and curtain walls, re-instating the original venue volume. A supplementary recessed Hotel above ensures the ongoing viability and conservation in a symbiotic relationship to breathe life into the original building.
