RPA Hospital Redevelopment

  • Name RPA Hospital Redevelopment
  • Client Health Infrastructure, NSW Health
  • Location Camperdown, NSW
  • Year 2021 - 2022

The proposed redevelopment of the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital provides an opportunity to comprehensively review the entire RPA East Campus precinct and provide solutions for the clinical requirements of the hospital as well as address some wayfinding, public realm and heritage challenges of the site that have been the result of piecemeal expansion.

The new green space and rain garden was informed by the site’s natural landform, addressing the complex overland water flow path and moved towards restoring and regenerating Country on the site.
