Pearl Beach House

  • Name Pearl Beach House
  • Client Private Residence
  • Country Darkinyung
  • Location Pearl Beach, NSW
  • Year 2001

Designed for informal living, the house is located on the southern peninsula of Pearl Beach, North of Sydney, and enjoys sweeping views of the beach through a stand of eucalyptus trees. The house has been designed as a comfortable retreat for a family that will eventually spend more time away from their house in the city. Formed as two adjoining gabled pavilions, the building sits firmly on a solid brick base with a lighter timber and glass structure above. The interior has a flow of space from the upper level entrance to the ground level, where the living rooms open to the view and the sun.
