TZG worked within a multidisciplinary consultant team to complete the final study phase for the Blacktown Showgrounds and Francis Park master plan. The 16 ha Showgrounds site comprises six parcels of land, each with distinct zoning and permitted uses that inform the plan’s organisation. Conceived as a ‘Park in the City’, the master plan arranges buildings and open spaces around two clusters: arts and culture, and recreation and events.
